Is a second U.S. passport the same as dual citizenship?
No. A second U.S. passport is a second book of the same U.S. citizenship. Dual citizens hold passports from two different countries, and as a U.S. citizen you must leave and enter the U.S. on your U.S. passport. Full answer →
