- Can I Renew A Us Passport If I Lost My Passport Card
Can I renew a US Passport if I lost my passport card?
Short answer is yes, you can renew your US passport even if you lost your passport card. Let's define what a passport book and passport card are.
A Passport Book is a blue book that contains 28 pages for passport stamps and visas. These books are used for international travel in all forms of transportation.
A Passport Card is a card the size of a drivers license that is used to travel from the United States via border crossing via land or sea to Mexico, Canada and the Caribbean.
Citizens particularly along the border obtain a passport card for its useful, but limited purposes.
So when its time to renew a passport book and you cannot find your passport card, what are the next steps?
